The Comedy Superstar, N. Santhanam, has recently expressed that he does not feel he has competition with any other great comedy actors in Kollywood like Sathish, Soori and Karunakaran, as they all have different styles of comedy. He said, "Everybody here has their own space. Most importantly, no one can replace another in the industry as everyone has a distinct brand of humour. As far as my comedy is concerned, I will be drastically cutting down on double entendres, humour on women folk and sensitive issues."
The Vaanam actor also remains humble about his success in Kollywood and wants to try out every part of cinema. Talking about his work he said, “I have done plenty of characters as a comedian, and now as the lead actor. I have ventured into production as well and through my banner, providing a platform for new talents in Tamil cinema. I will be soon giving a shot at direction as well”.
Despite trying out new stuffs in the industry, the 35-year-old actor seems to be quite loyal to the comedy genre and feels comfortable in comic roles. He confessed, "I think comedy is inborn and hence, is my forte. I am not sure if I would suit serious characters”.
