The immensely positive run that Piku has embarked on is yielding results for the makers in a big way. The collections for Monday were as strong as that on the opening day of the film. This goes out to show that Piku has won every heart it opened to.
After opening to a 5 crore Friday, while the figures multiplied and ended with a 25 crore weekend, the fourth day being the first weekday of the film earned around 4.5 crores. With this, the film now stands at a collection of around 30 crores. Piku in all totality has emerged victorious.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar is Back showed strong signs of slowing down and couldn't add much on its second Monday. The film is looking to end its theatrical run by 75 crores. Given the cost the film was made on, the investors have not entailed any losses.
